Bathroom Fans with Heater - Choose the Right One for Your Bathroom

!±8± Bathroom Fans with Heater - Choose the Right One for Your Bathroom

Bathroom fans w/ heater - this is a topic that I know very well after spending over twenty years in the bathroom remodeling industry as an electrical contractor. Bathroom fans w/ heater were units that I specified and installed regularly.

The first thing that you'll want to consider when selecting your bathroom fans w/ heater is the amount of air that is moved by the fan in terms of Cubic Feet per Minute (CFM). The higher the CFM, the more effectively this particular bathroom fans w/ heater will exhaust damp air from your bathroom.

My recommendations?

Go for the most CFM that you can afford. Stay away from the very low end fans in terms of CFM (50 CFM or less). These fans are designed specifically to meet the requirement of many cities that a remodelled bathroom include an exhaust fan. In other words, they are just for show - they don't move enough air to be even remotely effective.

Don't forget to vent the bathroom fans w/ heater to the outside of the house - either through the roof if it's right above the bathroom being remodelled or out through the wall of the bathroom. Failing to vent your new bathroom fans w/ heater properly will cut its performance drastically.

Next is the size of the heater in your bathroom fans w/ heater. You'll want to make certain that the heater is designed for 120 Volt operation. If the bathroom fans w/ heater is designed for 240 Volt operation, you'll need to have special wiring installed by a competent electrician to accommodate it.

You can get a combination light/fan unit much easier than a combination bathroom fans w/ heater. It might be a better decision to choose a light/fan unit with a separate wall mounted heater rather than a bathroom fans w/ heater.

There are a number of sources for bathroom fans w/ heater. Your local electrical supply house should be able to help further guide you in your hunt for bathroom fans w/ heater.

comfort Zone Vs EdenPure Infrared Heater divulge

!±8± comfort Zone Vs EdenPure Infrared Heater divulge

I am often asked which Infrared Heater is better, the relieve Zone, or the EdenPure, and the acknowledge is always a tricky one. Neither one completely blows the other out of the competition, but there are some minor differences between both units that deserve being mentioned.

The relieve Zone Infrared Heater performs good than the EdenPure in the area of heat diffusion and operating life time. The relieve Zone Infrared Heaters have a new heat diffuser made of stainless steel that is capable of producing 14% more heat than its competitors. relieve Zones are also designed to last longer because of their unique infrared heating technology. It boasts up to a 20,000 hour life span before a transfer could be necessary. The EdenPure though, uses approved infrared bulbs that are only rated at a 5,000 hour operating lifetime.

A similarity that both the relieve Zone and EdenPure share is the type of heat exchanger each unit has installed. They both use solid copper heater exchangers that enhance the absorption of infrared heat. This copper exchanger converts the infrared waves into a bandwidth of 9-10 microns straight through a process of copper ionization. This bandwidth is the optimum level for maximum heat absorption.

The relieve Zone provides healthier heat. What this means is that relieve Zone Infrared Heaters do not burn any oxygen, or work on humidity levels during operation. Most approved electric heaters can emit harmful byproducts and furnish uncomfortable heat. The relieve Zone though, provides a gentle type of heat that stays consistent from floor to ceiling.

Both units come with a fully functional remote and thermostat, and diffuse their heat with the help of an internal fan. relieve Zone Infrared Heaters use a Dual Dc fan system that is much quieter in comparison others. This is an leading aspect of an appliance you will be operating in your home for an extended duration of time.

In terms of pricing, the relieve Zone comes out to be more expensive. The top price relieve Zones are approximately 400-500 dollars, while the most expensive EdenPures are in the 300-400 dollar price range. Both units however, share a similar price tag in their lower priced models of colse to 300-350 dollars.

In conclusion, both of these Infrared Heaters would make great additions to your home, but it is leading to weigh the options and make an informed decision. The relieve Zone , while gift slightly good functionality, comes at a slightly higher price. I have found that when purchasing an item such as this, it is leading to look for the best quality goods that you can comfortably afford. This decision will pay off in the long run in terms of maintenance fees and repairs.
